- Upon sale of product, an FarmTrade.com logistics
coordinator will contact each seller to schedule material pickup.
- Seller (shipper) will print a uniform straight bill of lading from the
Farmtrade.com site to send with the shipment.
- THREE COPIES (3) of the bill of lading will need to be printed and
given to the driver on the day of the pickup.
- As all of FarmTrade.com's shipments are blind (the
seller does not know the buyer and vice-versa), the originating
carrier's terminal will be indicated as the consignee. Please note that
many of our major carriers work with smaller, local carriers to service
vast portions of the country. These "agent" carriers will generally
identify themselves as such at the time of pickup. If they do not, or
if there is any confusion, please call FarmTrade.com at
877-497-2436 ext. 3 or the carrier terminal number
listed on the BOL immediately before refusing a truck.
- Shipper's own bills of lading are not to be used.

number to view the bills of lading, and then use your browser's

- Seller (shipper) is responsible for:
- Correctness and completeness of all shipper's documentation required
for transporting hazardous materials
- Usage of proper packaging
- Correctness and completeness of seller supplied transportation
information
- Application of appropriate labels and placards
- Removal of all old shipper labels [Note: an accessorial charge may
apply if the carrier is required to do this due to the negligence
of the seller/shipper]
- Adherence to the FarmTrade.com
User Agreement
- Seller (shipper) will be available to load carrier at appointed time and
